Welcome! I’m so happy you are here! I’m Christine, the owner and chief excitement officer here at Festive Flamingo!
I am originally from Ortonville, Michigan, and went to Western Michigan University for my bachelor's in business management. Since then, I have lived in North Carolina, Chicago, and most recently, Nashville, working as a project/program manager for several Fortune 500 companies! In November 2023, I moved with my husband, 2 boys, and our pup back to Michigan to be closer to my family. We immediately fell in love with the Plymouth/Canton area and couldn't wait to join the community here!
I have always loved parties! I love adding little details that people wouldn't expect to make it feel extra special. I'm the first person to volunteer for an event, host a party, or make something to add a little flair. Over the years, I have picked themes and spent hours trying to find or make those special touches—I can't wait to share what I've learned with you!
In my spare time, I love to travel and soak in time with my family (you will see my kids at the store a lot!). We love to be up north in the summer and sledding in the winter! My goal for Festive Flamingo is that we feel like a staple part of the community. We want to get to know our neighbors, so please stop in even if it's just to say hi. Kids will always be given a free balloon because no one should leave a balloon store empty-handed!
